While not quite as iconic as the classic Viking sword, many Vikings carried seaxes (sometimes referred to as scramasaxes) along with them on their raids. Seaxes came in a variety of shapes and sizes, but this particular seax is long enough work as a deadly off-hand weapon in combination with a one-handed axe or sword.
Made of high carbon spring steel, the standard version of this seax is blunt and can be used for reenactment. A sharpened version of this seax is also available.
